Free public conversation inspired by the belonging to place exhibition on the creative community and artistic legacy of bell hooks. Dr. Linda Strong-Leek (Director, bell hooks Institute at Berea College) discusses the Institute’s mission and re-opening, followed by an ARTtalk by exhibiting artist Chanell Stone on how geography, land, and local community shape creative work.
